The United States Military Academy was established in 1802. It is the only college specifically charged with preparing young men and women for service as officers in the United States Army. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (SYSTEMS ENGINEERING / ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT / SYSTEMS DESIGN / DECISION SCIENCE): The Department of Systems Engineering invites applications for a full-time, 12 month per year, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor within the Department of Systems Engineering.

INSTRUCTOR / ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: This non-tenure track, full-time, 12-month, position will serve as an Instructor or Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering (DSE) with a focus on undergraduate teaching and advising in the field of Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, and/or Decision Analysis. Rank is commensurate with degree and/or experience. This position is renewable upon performance. If selected, the candidate will be expected to teach 3-4 sections of the same academic course and 0-1 capstones for Fall and Spring Terms equating to a load of 4 each term. Each course section consists of 15-18 cadets, each capstone consists of 4-6 cadets. During the summer term the candidate should expect to teach 1-3 sections of one academic course. Each calendar year, the candidate should expect to teach no more than 3 unique courses excluding capstone. The selected candidate is expected to teach and advise, as well as to identify new and industry-trending subjects for curriculum advancement. The selected candidate will also be expected to participate in departmental service, such as serving on faculty search committees or the communication/outreach committees. Departmental service will account for approximately 10-15% of their role.
