The Engineering Deans Council is composed of a representative from each of the Engineering College members of the Society as well as a representative from interested Affiliate College Members.
The Engineering Technology Council is composed of a representative from each of the technical college members of the Society as well as a representative from interested affiliated college members.
The ASEE Board of Directors established the ASEE Corporate Member Council to convey the ideas and views of corporations to ASEE.
The Engineering Research Council is composed of representatives from those Engineering College, Industrial, and Government members electing such representation.
The 50 states and Canada are divided into four zones for geographic convenience; each zone comprises three section. Individual members of the Society are assigned a geographic sections. Each individual member is identified both by a section and a zone and is represented on the Board of Directors by the chairperson of the Council of Sections comprising that zone.
The professional interests of the Society are many and varied. Individual members of the Society may become members of up to six of these divisions and participate in their activities.These division are grouped into five Professional Interest Councils, each reporting to a chair who is a member of the Board of Directors.
