The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is committed to ensuring that all participants, including those with disabilities, can fully engage in the Annual Conference. To facilitate this, ASEE offers accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Requesting Accommodations: Attendees requiring special arrangements are encouraged to inform ASEE at the time of registration. This allows the organization to provide necessary support to the fullest extent possible. Requests can be submitted via email to conferences@asee.org.

Types of Accommodations: ASEE typically provides services such as:

  • Sign Language Interpreting: For attendees with hearing impairments, sign language interpreters can be arranged upon request

  • Accessible Facilities: The conference venue is equipped with ramps, elevators, and restrooms designed to accommodate attendees with mobility challenges.

  • Mobility Scooters: ADA Compliant Scooters are available by request.

Early Notification: To ensure that all accommodations are in place by the time of the conference, attendees are advised to submit their requests as early as possible, ideally at the time of registration. This proactive approach helps ASEE coordinate the necessary services effectively.
