Penn State York invites applications for a teaching-line faculty position, Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Mechanical Engineering Technology; non-tenure line appointment, 36 weeks to begin August 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate courses that support ABET-accredited programs in mechanical engineering technology, electro-mechanical engineering technology, and mechanical engineering courses. The successful applicant is expected to participate in course, curriculum, program development; advise students; career guidance; participate in campus, University, and community service activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. with three-four years of industry experience. The candidate should be capable of teaching courses in statics, strength of materials, dynamics, and related courses. Experience in mechanical laboratory settings is highly desirable.
