Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute, Indiana, invites applications and nominations for the position of Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Reporting to the President, the position is available starting July 2025.
Founded in 1874, the Institute is recognized nationally as an elite STEM school for distinctions that include curricular quality, faculty excellence, return on investment, and career services. Career placement is near 100% year after year. The scenic campus in west-central Indiana is home to more than 2,300 students with a passion for STEM and learning. Rose-Hulman offer bachelor’s degrees in more than twenty disciplines and master’s degrees in eight. The Institute’s faculty are recognized nationally for achievements in educating future STEM professionals, and work to create an environment of individual attention and support.
The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree and an academic record meriting a tenured, full professorship, and possess significant academic leadership experience and a dedication to undergraduate STEM education. They will additionally be prepared to advance the academic enterprise of the institution, participate as an academic partner in fundraising, and help prepare the institution for changes in the higher education landscape.
