• EDI 2022 - Industry 4.0: Preparing our future workforce for the “next normal” 
  How do we design the “next normal” to prepare students for the engineering careers of tomorrow? Engineering is at a crossroads. This includes its practice in the workplace and how it’s taught in the classroom.  A digital transformation has shifted the engineering landscape, and industry and academia must collaborate to improve curricula, work-based experiences, policies, and practices to prepare future engineers and skilled technical workers. This panel will discuss how academia can tackle the challenge of preparing the workforce for the fourth industrial revolution. This will be an engaging and interactive discussion addressing targeted topics around the transformative technologies that define Industry 4.0. This session is part of a series of ASEE/CMC events that are fostering new networks, consortia, and partnerships among academic institutions, businesses, and policy makers to spur the evolution of engineering education to keep pace with industry needs. • Industry Day Session - Brainstorming Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Approaches and the Challenges in Industry
  
  Representatives from Chevron, Siemens, and Northrop Grumman will facilitate a set of round-robin activities in which audience members address workplace approaches and challenges for creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture.
   
• Distinguished Lecture - Engagement of Engineering Societies in Undergraduate Engineering Education
  
  The National Academy of Engineering panelists who will discuss their two-year, National Science Foundation- supported project analyzing ASEE’s role in improving undergraduate education.
